  • Our Mission

Our Ministry operates a food pantry which procures and distributes food and essentials to the hungry and those experiencing difficulties and challenges taking care of themselves or their families, FOOD being the most important staple.
The need to constantly restock the pantry shelves is ongoing, and we rely on the generosity of others to carry on our mission.
At this specific time, it is also difficult to distribute food and continue to adhere to the regulations of social distancing in order to protect our members and our clients but we will find a way.

  • Christmas Giving Tree

St Ambrose St. Vincent DePaul Society
    “Christmas Giving Tree”

Due to the pandemic this year, members of the SVDP Society  have had to come up with a safe and compliant way to continue to service our needy families ordinarily supported through our Annual Christmas Giving Tree.  This program will continue this Christmas Season, however, things will look a little different!   Anyone who wishes to be a part of this year’s Giving Tree program, please purchase gift cards only.  This way, parents will be able to purchase the gifts that are special, needed and wanted within their own family, and you will have the ability to minimize your own contact with other busy shoppers.  We ask you to indicate the gift card dollar amount on the card or envelope you will be donating, and there will be drop boxes at the front door and side door of the Church beginning on November 22, 2020.  Please be sure to return your cards no later than December 13, 2020 to allow our organization ample opportunity to distribute your generous donations to our families.

Thank you for your past and continued support to SVDP
and may God bless you and your family.

    Jan Martin
    Client Services, SVDP

    **(the most requested cards are:
Walmart, Kohls, Macys, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Marshall’s,
T.J.Maxx, Starbucks, WAWA, Dunkin Donuts & Hobby Lobby)**
please note, most gift cards are available on-line or at
    your local supermarket.
