Please arrive 30 minutes early. Remember to bring your Confirmation gown. Sponsors will sit directly behind the Confirmation Candidate.
Where do I enter the building: Enter through door #13 for the Auditorium. We will process into the church leaving through door #5.
Where do the sponsors go and what do they wear? Sponsors will already be seated in their appropriate assigned pew in the Church. Remember sponsors to dress conservatively. Ladies, no short skirts, cover the shoulders. You must have a back and sleeves. Dress modestly, you are in the presence of the King of Kings. Please wear dress shoes. Men please wear a jacket and tie, dress slacks, socks, black dress shoes.
How many tickets will I receive or how many guests will I have for Confirmation Day: The church capacity is 500 people according to the fire code. The total number of persons per Confirmandi is 4 guests, 1 Confirmandi and 1 Sponsor. (If you have twins or brother and sister receiving on the same date, then you will be able to bring 8 guests and 2 Confirmandi and 2 Sponsors). Tickets for seating will be distributed at the Confirmation Practice.
Pictures and Video during Live Event: We have contracted with RDPlex to have 2 photographers and 2 videographers at the event. We will also be livestreaming the event for those who cannot attend. You may purchase a DVD after the event. You may also purchase photos of your Confirmandi as well. NO INDIVIDUAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE PERMITTED TO TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE EVENT OTHER THAN RDPLEX TO AVOID CONTRACT INFRINGEMENT.
What to wear for Confirmation: Young Ladies: If you choose to wear dresses, the length cannot be shorter than 2 inches above the knee. The dress must be modest and have a back and sleeves. You are not limited to any color or pattern. Please no sports shoes or high tops. Dress shoes only, preferably white or black. Please do not wear very high heels.
Young men: You are to wear dress pants with a white shirt and tie. Black or brown dress shoes and black (or dark) socks are also required. No sports shoes.
